About Jen Kelly

Jen became passionate about photography while completing her bachelor of science degree in Communications. Her academic training in photography inspired her to begin capturing beautiful floral images in her gardens while continuing to study the art of photography through hundreds of hours of training and mentoring programs.

Showing her art in a variety of venues, she quickly gained a following for her unique floral, garden and landscape images. After several years focusing on gardens and landscapes, Jen added portraits to her portfolio, capturing that magical twinkle in a child’s eye, the tenderness of a parent’s touch or the integrity and respect of a corporate executive. She prefers natural environments and settings, rather than props and artificial poses.

Her role as communications manager for a Minneapolis Fortune 100 company allows her to bring her skills into the world of corporate photography and gives her the necessary business acumen to ensure that your experience with Jen Kelly Photography is one of utmost professionalism.

About the Session

Jen is committed to providing you with the highest quality product. Before any session, you will have an introductory meeting with her to ensure that she fully understands your goals for your final portrait.

You will be the only appointment of the day. Each session is 60 to 90 minutes, which includes a “get-acquainted” time to develop just the right rapport with you and your family ensuring the most natural portrait. Jen chooses to work with only one client per day, ensuring that your session receives her full attention and energy. Jen guarantees that you will you be fully satisfied with your final image, or she will gladly schedule another session.

All sessions are done at a mutually agreed upon time and place – your home, a park or other location. Jen will also provide guidance or recommend appropriate settings to meet your goals. Outdoor natural settings, such as parks or conservatories, make beautiful backdrops for portraits of all kinds.

All prints are proofed online in the convenience and privacy of your home. A professional lab – using only the highest quality processing and materials – produces your final prints.
